3 tributes for Stéphanie, killed wantonly by an Islamist terrorist
These April 26 and 30, 2021, three ceremonies paid tribute to Stéphanie Monfermé, an administrative officer of Rambouillet police station, France, murdered a few days earlier by an Islamist terrorist:
- the first one, at the esplanade of Rambouillet town hall, France, in presence of daughters and husband of the victim, President of the Sénate G. Larcher, interior Minister G. Darmanin, Minister Delegated M. Schiappa, President of Region Ile-de-France Valérie Pécress and Mayoress of Rambouillet V. Matillon;
- the second one, near Rambouillet police station and in front of Rambouillet war memorial, in presence of young Muslims, Imam Chalghoumi, a Rabbi and the writer Marek Halter;
- the third one, in front of Rambouillet war memorial, as a tribute of the entire Nation and in presence of family of the victim, the Prime Minister J Castex and six of his ministers, and a local audience that came on force to pay respect in front of a giant screen installed for the occasion.
